Although local and international newspapers have been reporting that a cash storm occurred in Dubai, it was actually Kuwaiti residents who had a pleasant surprise early this month, as it literally began raining money from the skies.
In this viral video, onlookers stopped their cars to pick up the extra money. As if they needed it.
The video was first posted more than 10 days ago in Kuwait. Since then, international media has attributed the location to Dubai.
However, after sleuthing the Google imagery of the cash rain we can attest that yes, this definitely occurred in Kuwait . The exterior of the Fatburger (35 seconds) as well a construction site close by (24 seconds) confirm that this was Kuwait.
