Earlier this month, Dubai's Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan officially signed his religious marriage certificate along with two of his brothers. Until now, the date of the actual wedding ceremony remained unknown.
But, it looks like Eid is going to be filled with some joyous celebrations among the house of royals in Dubai.
The wedding ceremony of Prince Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum and his brothers will take place during the Eid holidays. According to Arabian Business, the wedding will take place on June 6 at the Dubai World Trade Centre and will begin at 4 p.m.
Last night, not only did a photo of the wedding reception invitation card make the rounds online, but so did a video of the royal palace as it lit up in anticipation of the three royals' grand wedding.
On May 15, three members of the royal family signed their official religious marriage contracts in a private ceremony. Sheikh Hamdan got married to Sheikha Sheikha bint Saeed bin Thani Al Maktoum, Sheikh Maktoum (Deputy Ruler of Dubai) to Sheikha Mariam bint Butti Al Maktoum, and Sheikh Ahmad (Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation) to Sheikha Midya bint Damlouj Al Maktoum.
And now, everyone is anticipating the official wedding reception and thousands of guests are expected to take part, according to The National.
Sometime last week, images of the invitations that were sent out for the religious marriage ceremonies were made public. No, the invitation cards were not paper-based, but rather came in a huge embroidered box with a golden plate and a popular local dessert inside it. So, can you imagine what the royals have in store for us this June?
