Saudi Arabia's iconic camel festival and beauty pageant just welcomed the ultimate royal visitor, Dubai's Crown Prince Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the prince arrived in the kingdom on Saturday to attend the festival's activities before they wrap up on February 1. 

He was received at the King Khaled International Airport by Prince Bader bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz and Sheikh Shakhbut bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, the UAE's ambassador to the kingdom. 

In a statement he made upon arriving in Riyadh, prince Hamdan said he was honored to be taking part in the historic festival.

Soon after he touched down in Saudi Arabia, photos of Sheikh Hamdan's arrival started to make the rounds online and naturally, went viral.
