While the internet has been focusing on the engagement announcement of Britain's Prince Harry to actress Meghan Markle, little did they know there would be a new royal wedding to ponder over ... and it's from none other than Dubai's ruling family.
Sheikha Maryam bint Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the daughter of Dubai's ruler Sheikh Mohammad, recently got engaged to Sheikh Suhail bin Ahmad bin Juma Al Maktoum.
The announcement was made via an Instagram post by Sheikh Mohammed's sister, Sheikha Fatima bint Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
In the post, Sheikha Fatima shared a poem in which she expressed happiness for the couple and wished them a loving future together.
"Mabrouk Mariam, Mabrouk Suhail," she wrote towards the end of the poem.
The bride-to-be's sister Sheikha Latifa celebrated the news with an Arabic calligraphy Instagram post in which she intertwines the names of the newlyweds.
