Dubai's royal family met with members of the British royal family over the weekend, as the two watched Epsom Derby - one of the most prestigious horse races in the world.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE met with Queen Elizabeth II. He was joined by his wife Princess Haya bin Al Hussein and son Sheikh Hamdan, Crown Prince of Dubai.
The Dubai royals enjoyed the fast-paced annual race as 18 horses lined up, but that's not all.
Prince Hamdan took home the 1700-meter Princess Elizabeth Stakes trophy after "Laugh Aloud," a horse from his racing team, Godolphin, won.
This gathering comes less than a month after the two royal families met up at the Royal Windsor Endurance Race!

During the visit, Sheikh Mohammed discussed “the strong bilateral ties between the UAE and the United Kingdom," while highlighting the importance of the classic English Derby horse race, according to What's On Dubai.
Queen Elizabeth II positively highlighted the historic friendship between the UK and the UAE.
