A police officer was watching the streets of Dubai through his CCTV screen when he spotted an Emirati man having a heart attack. 

The middle-aged man was walking on the street when he suddenly felt something in his chest. He began clutching his chest tighter and tighter whilst he was walking, until he froze in his tracks.  

That's when the officer watching the live footage dispatched a team of paramedics to the scene.

The man was then seated on the pavement as the police officer spoke to him. 

Dubai Police uploaded the live footage on its YouTube channel on Monday. The video has garnered nearly 80,000 views on the social platform. 

This wouldn't be the first time the Dubai Police came out as heroes

Back in October, Scottish woman Kirsty McLaughlin was reported missing for almost 48 hours ... until the Dubai Police found her.

"A team from the Missing Person’s Department immediately started an investigation, especially after learning the woman was under extreme stress and had left her mobile at home," said Khalil Al Mansouri, assistant commander of Dubai CID, according to The National
