Applying to university can be a real struggle for some students, but it seems to be quite a different case for one Dubai-based teenager.

A 17-year-old Indian student in Dubai was recently granted acceptance into seven prominent universities in the United States. Simone Noorali now has the opportunity to choose from several top-ranked universities including John Hopkins and Georgetown University, among several others. She also received acceptance letters from Ivy League schools such as Dartmouth College and University of Pennsylvania.

Noorali has studied at Dubai's Uptown School in Mirdif, and has managed to maintain straight A's since grade 9, according to Khaleej Times.

"I honestly think there is no secret to being accepted into this many universities. The whole process is about discovering yourself. Everyone has something unique to offer," Noorali told Khaleej Times.

"While applying to universities, it forced me to look back at my life and try to figure out the reason behind everything I did. I had explained all of that eloquently to universities in my college application essays," she added.

The teen has written a book titled ''The Girl in the Pink Room',' which touches on human trafficking in India.

Not the only Dubai teen to be flooded with acceptances this year

Earlier this month, another Dubai-based student received acceptance letters from 16 top universities in the UK and U.S.

Alizeh Yahya, a Pakistani national and Year 13 student at Dubai College, is potentially seeking a career in public policy, law, and politics, she told Gulf News.

She secured a spot in five Ivy League schools including Yale, Columbia, UPenn, Dartmouth, and Cornell.
