Remember when U.S. President Donald Trump said that Dubai's, Qatar's and China's airports make America's airports look like they're from a third-world country?
Well, on Tuesday, Dubai Airport's CEO, Paul Griffiths, offered to help Trump with his airport problem and their "shabby amenities," Arabian Business reported.
Griffiths went on to say that "If America and President Trump would like some of the expertise from Dubai, I’m sure we'd be pleased to assist."
But, we believe renovating airports isn’t quite a top priority at the moment given that Trump is busy fulfilling campaign pledges -what with the most recent Muslim-targeted immigration ban.
Its rather ironic that he would commend airports in countries that could be directly affected by his policies. No?
In other news, DXB airport beat London Heathrow airport as the world's busiest airport for international traffic in 2014, and has steadily maintained that title.
Griffiths expects a total of 89 million passengers by the end of this year, which is steadily rising by around 7% per year.
