All the performing arts lovers out there, this is for you!
Officially opening in August, the Dubai Opera is the city's first multi-format performing arts theater, set to bring some of the world's greatest performances to Dubai.
Able to accommodate around 2,000 people, the theater is meant to play host to a variety of performances and events including theater, opera, ballet, concerts, conferences and exhibitions.
Here are some of the shows you should look out for this fall, once it opens.
In September
1. Impossible
If you're a fan of the movie "Now You See Me," you will appreciate this. Featuring the world’s best illusionists live on stage, this is a show Dubai has never seen before.
2. COPPÉLIA
This is a captivating and entertaining ballet based on a story by E.T.A Hoffmann.
3. Mozart Gala
The show will bring you some of Mozart's most famous operas and orchestral favorites including Eine kleine Nachtmusik.
In October
Al Jassmi is set to be the first Arabic singer to perform live at the venue. Known for his beautiful songs including the popular " Boshret Kheir," his concert is definitely a should-not-miss!
In November
The moment we've all been waiting for! The world's most popular musical is coming to Dubai for the first time ever. The musical has been seen by over 70 million people worldwide in 44 different countries and in 22 languages. It's a must-not miss!
