Turkish social media has been abuzz with accusations that international British singer Adele stole a tune from a beloved Turkish singer.
Adele's "Million Years Ago" from her recently released album sounds quite similar to Ahmet Kaya's “Acilara Tutunmak” ("Clinging to Pain"), which was recorded in 1985. Kaya died 15 years ago in exile in France.

However, Kaya's wife was less quick to make accusations ...
According to the AFP she said it seemed unlikely that an international star like Adele would plagiarize. "However, if she consciously did it, then it would be theft,"
