Do you worry that your home or office is under drone surveillance? Well, now you can worry a little less, as the new Cyborg Unplug offers some serious peace of mind.

This new anti-surveillance system promises to secure the wireless airspace around you, preventing most drones from surreptitiously recording you. But before you picture a giant fly swatter, the device doesn’t actually stop drones from flying, just from transmitting information wirelessly.

“We have no interest crashing drones,” Cyborg Unplug’s Samim Winiger told The Daily Dot . “We have a problem with unsolicited surveillance.”

The device does not interfere with the operation of the drone itself in any way. Instead, by constantly watching the wireless airspace around your house, the Cyborg Unplug can detect any device that is transmitting wirelessly, and send it a “ deauthentication” packet, in effect booting it off of the WiFi network.

Users can choose which kind of devices they want to guard against, and the device will constantly scan for the "wearable 'spy' cameras and microphones, Google Glass and Dropcam, small drones/copters and a variety of popular spy devices disguised as familiar objects.” Perfect for all the Jason Bourne-types out there.

Since the device only stops certain instruments from transmitting audio and/or video, this isn’t a defense against serious drones. It seems aimed more at those who worry that their spouse or a competitor could be peaking in the curtains at inopportune moments. Read: really paranoid people.

Added bonus? It can disable a wireless smoke detector. We're not sure about that last one either.

The gadget is available for preorder for $66 right now, and is expected to ship within a few months.
