If there's one thing we know for sure, American model and cook Chrissy Teigen reigns supreme when it comes to social media.

From trolling her husband - musician John Legend - to making important political statements, she is known for her bluntly hilarious tweets.

One of her latest targets was Saudi Arabia's robot citizen, known as Sophia the Robot, who ultimately proved she has major Twitter skills.

Here's how the viral conversation went down:

It all started when Teigen decided to poke fun at Sophia's makeup

And people were quick to warn her not to mess with the robot

"Sis, run!"

So, Teigen immediately apologized and referred to Sophia as her "queen"

Sophia took her sweet time to devise the perfect comeback

Her reply to Teigen's comment came weeks later when Sophia pointed out that the two of them were at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), an annual trade show for technology.

With a self-deprecating tweet, Sophia suggested that she should meet up with Teigen to learn some makeup tips.

It's safe to say Teigen was a little nervous

"She comprehends shade. How am I supposed to sleep?"

Teigen decided to make amends with the robot ... for her own good

And it looks like the duo is planning a lunch date

Naturally, conspiracy theories ensued

"Don't do it"

"It's a trap"

"...save yourself and the babies!!!"

But, Sophia assured them that Teigen has nothing to worry about

The real question remains ...

Who is Sophia the Robot?

In October 2017, the robot became the first-ever humanoid robot to receive citizenship after she was granted the Saudi nationality.

Designed by Honk Kong-based Hanson Robotics, Robot Sophia was "created using breakthrough robotics and artificial intelligence technologies developed by David Hanson."

The software-powered robot was designed to look like actress Audrey Hepburn.

Considered one of the most advanced robots in the world, Sophia can animate all kinds of human expressions and grasp emotions through interacting with people.
