For the second year in a row, the Scientific Research Academy of Science and Technology is putting together Cairo Innovates, an exhibition aimed to showcase the latest inventions created by Egyptians.

The exhibition, which will take place on Nov. 24 and 25 at the Baron Palace in Cairo, will recognize the latest innovators and present their latest inventions to a number of professionals as well as governmental agencies that may be interested in sponsoring new methods, ideas, products, etc.

Cairo Innovates relies heavily on the creativity of participants and hopes to be a tool for Egyptian youth to enter competitions with foreign countries as well as support the state in the fight against poverty and inequality.

The upcoming exhibition seeks to set new standards within the Egyptian society as it brings together different scientific and technological fields.

"Our goal is to stimulate scientific and technological innovation by bringing together scientists, innovators, entrepreneurs and governmental entities in one place," the organizers stated on their Facebook page . "We want to provide every innovator in the country with the needed connections and opportunities."

During the course of the two days, Cairo Innovates will offer lectures, workshops, competitions, seminars, and inspirational talks by young creative minds. Information about different funding programs provided by the European Union such as Horizon 2020, will be provided.
