Have you ever listened to music while reading your favorite book and suddenly felt like the track and the words on the page somehow merged together, like a soundtrack? Well, that is exactly the kind of experience Egyptian Ahmed Abdalla wants to provide for all the readers of "The Book Project."
The project aims to create both a physical book and an app that provides musical tracks connected to the text. Additionally, the app will connect users to the social media community of the book, making the reading experience interactive and social.
According to the project's crowdfunding page on Zoomaal, Abdalla and his team, "adopted the idea of presenting an integrated artwork in the form of a printed book that is distinguished by its ability to cope with modern developments and consisting of some new ideas."
Already the campaign has managed to garner over 50 percent of its $7,000 base goal with well over a month left to go. Check out the video below and the campaign page here .
