Redditers Call Out Qatar World Cup Sponsors with Anti-Logo Campaign

Will the increased pressure on FIFA sponsors get the ball rolling on Qatar's promised reforms to labor laws?

As the Qatar World Cup crops up in headlines again and again and again, Reddit users shared their opinions as well, calling on the big brands who are sponsoring the event to step down.

The campaign for sponsors such as Visa, Coca-Cola or Adidas to step down is visually compelling, tying in the iconic brand with images like handcuffs, whips or graves. And the tagline? A chilling "Proudly supporting the human rights abuses of World Cup 2022."

The campaign may have caught the attention of the brands as well, as some users' original Reddit posts have been deleted, leaving Redditers to wonder if brands (Coca-Cola, cough, cough) have threatened legal action.

Whatever the case may be, it seems as if the world of Reddit isn't happy with the conditions of migrant works in Qatar.
