Life in the Middle East just got a bit tougher, as Lebanon lost one of its icons, SkyBar.
Sarcasm aside, while many bloggers and websites are poking fun at the Lebanese for their adoration, and now, grief over the loss of SkyBar, it is one of the top stereotypes associated with Lebanon, after the civil war, amazing food and beautiful women.
In case you think this is an exaggeration, SkyBar has been trending on Twitter all day in Lebanon. There is also a hashtag, #LiveLoveSkybar. We can't make these things up people.
And so, here is a roundup of the tweets commemorating the international landmark, SkyBar. No word yet on when it will open, but it is definitely not this weekend, when it was set to launch its summer season.
