This year has been quite an interesting one for memes. In January, it was a meme of the Dubai-based Turkish chef #SaltBae that took over our timelines... In February it was the 'white guy blinking' GIF ... and now it's one of Meryl Streep. 

The meme of the award-winning actress "singing, screaming" has been making the rounds online and Arabs couldn't help but play along. 

Some are using the meme to voice their patriotism, others are using it to explain random things.
