Riyadh is a complicated place with a lot rules, and their schools are no different. But it's not all bad. Looking back at it, it felt normal to me. As in, it was all I had ever known. I was used to it and I couldn't really imagine things being different. Here are 6 things you happened when you went to school in Riyadh

1. You fasted out of respect regardless of your religion

Because you know, poor people

2. Got in trouble when your school uniform got shorter because well, growing

Mid-year growth spurts cause serious issues.

3. You went to an all girls' school. Enough said.

Nothing like putting 300+ girls in a building. Good times all around

4. Having the principal, supervisor, teacher barge into your class without warning and taking iPod

Try getting near my Backstreet boys cassette one more time. I dare you!

5. Getting in trouble for going into the Arabic section of the school and vice versa

We want THEIR CAMPUS! Ours sucks!
