The 24-year-old became the most >expensive footballer in history last summer after Manchester United paid Juventus a reported £89m ($114m) fee.
He had previously captained his nation's Under-20 team to victory at the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup, taking home the Best Player award for his performance at the tournament.
