Last year, Dubai said it plans to start 3D printing buildings. Who knew that day would be just one year later?

The Office of the Future, the world's first 3D printed building, was officially opened on Monday by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, vice president of the UAE and ruler of Dubai.

Nice day with the opening of the "Office of the future" the first fully 3D printed building

“We implement what we plan, and we pursue actions, not theories. The rapidly changing world requires us to accelerate our pace of development for history does not recognize our plans but our achievements,” Sheikh Mohammad said, according to Gulf News .

This is a milestone for the UAE... as the office opened its doors a month after the launch of Dubai's 3D Printed Strategy!

Dubai's 3D Printing Strategy aims to make the UAE and Dubai the leading global center of 3D printing by 2030. The strategy covers three mains sectors including construction, medical products, and consumer products.

If you're not already impressed, note that the office took only 17 days to be constructed!

By 2030, the UAE will be all tech everything... driverless cars, 3D printed buildings, what's next?
