Ever since he announced his candidacy in 2015, U.S. President Donald Trump has been the subject of public scrutiny and comedic commentary. When he's not signing life-threatening >executive orders, it seems as though almost everything he says or does has an amusing side to it.
His awkward handshakes, for instance, have made viral headlines in recent months.
Trump has made a habit out of asserting his dominance while shaking hands with dignitaries, using his signature 'alpha-male' handshake, aggressively gripping a person's hand and yanking it to his side.
But some leaders and politicians are catching on, and they are not letting Trump have his way.
Some have successfully shut down Trump's handshake technique, with one of the most recent being Tajikistan's Muslim leader Emomali Rahmon.
Rahmon, who has been the president of the central-Asian country since 1994, met with Trump last week during the latter's recent visit to the Middle East.
A video of the duo has been making the rounds online, and people are satisfied to see Rahmon totally win Trump's handshake battle.
