A video of a young Saudi boy drifting in a near-death experience has been making rounds on the Internet.

At least one driver gets into an accident in the kingdom every second. At least 20 people die per day due to speeding, drifting or reckless driving.

The boy, who looks no older than 17-years-old, was driving around with friends when he decided to pull a stunt. In just a few seconds, he lost control of the car, causing it to flip.

The boy turned off the music and repeatedly began saying "bismillah" in a state of apparent shock.

Saudi traffic casualties and road accidents are all the too common in the kingdom.

In August, the Saudi cabinet >increased traffic fines and prison terms for violators.

First time drifters now receive a 20,000 riyal fine and will be referred to a court. The vehicle will also be impounded for 15 days.

A repeat offender will have to pay a 40,000 riyal fine and will be referred to a court. The vehicle will be impounded for one month.

A third-time offender will pay a 60,000 riyal fine and will have his vehicle confiscated.

Drifting in the kingdom has grabbed the attention of international media in recent years.

VICE Sports even made an entire documentary about it. The documentary garnered over 1 million views on YouTube.

This wouldn't be the first time a Saudi driving stunt made the rounds online

Earlier in September, a video caught a driver falling out of his car while he was drifting.
