Traveling isn't always easy. This is something Arabs and Middle Easterners know all too well especially when increased vetting, complicated visas procedures and yes, sometimes Muslim Bans are involved.
However, not all passports are created equal, and the latest Passport Index list stands testament to that.
According to annual study by Arton Capital, the United Arab Emirates has the region's strongest passport with a visa-free score of 122.
Globally ranked at 28, the UAE passport is followed by Kuwait at 51 with a visa-free score of 82
Saudi Arabia stands at 60 with a visa-free score of 67
And, Tunisia is ranked 67 with a visa-free score of 61
As for the Arab countries with the least powerful passports, Iraq stands at 96 with a visa-free score of 28
Lebanon ranked 89 with a visa-free score of 38
Palestine stands at 90 with a visa-free score of 37
Syria at 95 with a visa-free score of 29
Jordan at 81 with a visa-free score of 46
And, Egypt ranked 79 with a visa-free score of 48
Globally, Germany has the world’s strongest passport with a visa-free score of 158.
Sweden and Singapore share the second place on the list while Denmark, Finland, France, Spain, Norway, the United Kingdom and the United States of America are all rank third.
The higher the visa-free score the more travelling power passport holders posses and the more able they are to fly without applying for a visa in advance. It must be nice to have that kind of luxury.
