Hailing from the Monufia Governorate in the northern part of Egypt, 28 year old tour guide Passant Nur El-Din has risen to become a social media sensation in less than 3 months.
The short Facebook videos that she records with her phone - 2 to 3 minute clips about touristic locations across Egypt - have garnered millions of views.
Passant is a graduate from the Faculty Of Tourism and Hotels at the Helwan University, and has been working as a tour guide for about eight years.
She told Youm7 that some of her friends who are familiar with her passion for history, traveling and story telling have always encouraged her to make videos of the places she visits.
Passant has also launched her Youtube channel two weeks ago.

The first ever tower built in Egypt
The Thabet-Thabet building is a skyscraper that overlooks the river Nile in the Cairo suburb of Garden City.
The late Naoum Shebib is the architect, structural engineer and contractor for this landmark 31 story building. The building was completed in 1958 making it the first-ever skyscraper in Egypt.
The skyscraper is popularly known to locals as the Belmont Building, as it once featured a large advertisement for Belmont cigarettes on its rooftop.
