We don't always look forward to visiting the dentist. After all, our fears of drills and other instruments have long been ingrained by arguably well-meaning family elders who'd say things like: "if you don't listen to me, you'll go to the dentist and get that big scary metallic syringe".
But one man is changing the negative stereotypes surrounding the profession, one viral video at a time, and that guy is Dr. Milad Shadrooh aka The Singing Dentist.
A week ago >Shadrooh >announced that he was working on a new cover, and people just couldn't wait.
The UK-based doctor, who is of Middle Eastern descent, makes dentistry so much fun by covering popular hits for some entertaining yet informative educational songs. His last >cover of Ed Sheeran's 'shape of you' went viral.
Now he is back with yet another parody cover
"Hi everyone, with all the negative madness in the world right now, I thought some smiles were needed so here is my new parody ... Take A Seat-O!! 😊," Dr. Milad posted on his >Facebook page.
Here is a hilarious cover of Justin Bieber's Despacito!
Take a seat-o and enjoy!
In less than 24 hours it went viral, garnering over 18 million views at the time of writing.
Maybe the dancing eyebrows have something to do with it?
Milad's videos are all about raising awareness in an enjoyable way...
... which made him the most influential dentist for 2017.
Dr. Shadrooh enjoys a huge following on social media. His Facebook page alone has over 336,300 followers. He also has his own website and YouTube channel where he posts his latest covers.
“Dentistry made fun! Parodies for all to enjoy! Promoting Oral Health in an entertaining way!” is the tagline you'll find on his website.
Promoting oral hygiene of your fur babies as well!
As a dentist, I'm definitely a major fan of Dr. Shadrooh.
