All 90s kids have one thing in common: a love for Super Mario that will never fade away. So, one UK-based Muslim channel decided to bring Mario back this Ramadan ... with a halal twist.
Eman Channel released a 15-second video with a character that looks a lot like Nintendo's Super Mario - except he'd dressed in traditional Khaleeji kandoura as he goes out on a mission.
What exactly is his mission?
Mario (whose real name is secretly Mohammad, maybe?) begins looking for good deeds to spread to those in need throughout the entire day because charity is a priority during Ramadan.
The bigger the charity, the bigger Mario's heart
Once Mario fulfills his daily dues, he goes to the castle (mosque) to give away what he's collected over the course of the day.
The video ends with the slogan:
"Power up your eman (faith) this Ramadan."
