Bloomberg recently published a list of cruise destinations travelers should stop at in 2019 ... and Egypt ranked second.
The media company said that several luxury lines including Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Oceania Cruises, and Silversea will stop in the North African country as part of their itineraries. The cruise will stop at Port Safaga, a town in Egypt on the coast of the Red Sea, with bus transfers to Luxor and the Valley of the Kings.
Also, the 42-passenger Oberoi Philae river Nile cruise lets you "lounge in your own open-air whirlpool while pretending you're Cleopatra on the Nile," as Bloomberg puts it.
On the Oberoi Philae, prices for a 13-day cruise start at $8,480.
A look at Luxor ...
If you're into sight-seeing, then Luxor is definitely your go-to destination. There's the Temple of Karnak, Valley of the Kings, and the Tomb of King Tutankhamen, to name a few.
