In the past couple of years, people have become more interested in dancing thanks to TV shows like "Dancing with the Stars" and recently, "So You Think You Can Dance" "يلا نرقص". We've been witnessing the rise of the number of people who are finally looking at dancing differently, especially for men. So if you're interested in dancing but have no idea where to go, here is a list of dance studios in Lebanon:

Founded by SYTYCD judge Charles Makriss, this is your go-to place if you're interested in learning hip hop or looking to become a fully fledged B-Boy or B-Girl. You learn everything from popping to breaking. In addition to that, they also offer a wide range of classes such as Street Jazz, Reggaeton, Salsa, and Burlesque.

In 1998, Ivan Samaha launched the first Latin & Ballroom Dance Class at “The Private Club”. Then in 2001, he merged his dance students from Rimal & Sagesse Clubs with the Private Club & founded the “Private Club Dance Studios” and incorporated additional dance styles, such as Modern Jazz, Classical Ballet & Street dance. In May 2004, the name Lebanon Dance Academy was adopted and the institution was officially under formation. The school specializes in Latin and Ballroom but also offers other classes such as Dabke, Hip Hop and Rhythmic gymnastics.

Spin 360 is a fitness centre\dance studio that offers a variety of classes for kids and adults. It doesn't specialize in anything specific, instead, it offers several classes in Jazz, hip hop, tango, Salsa and other classes such as Capoeira which is a Brazilian martial arts that combines elements from dance and acrobatics.

Sima Dance Company is an artistic assembly founded in 2003, under the supervision of artistic director and choreographer Alaa Kreimid. The dance company consists of dancers and graduates from the higher Institute and the School of Ballet in Damascus. They offer Hip hop, contemporary, street jazz and Ballet for teens and adults.

Founded by the incredibly talented contemporary dancer Omar Rajeh, Maqamat is considered "the founder of a Lebanese Contemporary Dance Scene. " It specializes in Contemporary dance and offers classes in Ballet and Hip hop.

This school is known even without any introductions. Caracalla Dance School offers classes in different styles that range from folklore, to jazz, to ballet and even the trademark Caracalla style. Their classes are suited of all ages.

Steps is one of the very few dance studios in Lebanon that offers a formal training in Broadway theatre along with Latin\Ballroom, Jazz, Burlesque and even pole dancing. Yes, Pole dancing. (It's about time huh?)

Khanito Dance Academy provides Latin & ballroom dancing, classical ballet, modern, oriental, hip-hop and even wedding dance classes.

The Academy is a dance studio that is taught by Mazen Kiwan himself. For those of you who don't know who that is, he is a dancer, choreographer, founder and Artistic Director of the Beirut International Tango Festival and also a judge on Dancing With The Stars. The Academy focuses mainly on Tango classes, Latin and Baladi dance.

Arthur Murray Dance Studios in Lebanon specialize in ballroom dancing lessons, group and private dance classes and salsa dancing for singles or couples in Waltz, Fox Trot, Swing, Salsa, Hustle, Charleston, Polka, Tango, Country, Jive, Rock N' Roll, Ballroom Dancing, and more.
