Arabs are >crazy about records. We have the world's tallest building, the world's largest pot of hummus and many other strange and wonderful things.
But we're not the only ones. An Arabic-named supersized cat in Australia is currently being considered for a Guinness World Record.
Omar, a large Maine Coon, the largest domesticated breed of cats, may win the title of ">world's longest domestic cat."
The furry feline first began making the rounds online after Guinness World Records got in touch with owner Stephy Hirst, asking her to send in his measurements.
Omar stands at 120 centimeters and weighs 14 kgs; he needs a dog crate to be taken to the vet. His preferred meal is raw kangaroo meat.
Currently, another Maine Coon from West Yorkshire named Ludo stands at 118 centimeters tall.
