A video of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi's bodyguard standing in US Secretary of State John Kerry's way to ask if he has a phone with a camera has gone viral.

Kerry is about to meet with Sisi in New Delhi. He greets some of Sisi's security men as he walks through a hall leading to the meeting's location, until one bodyguard got a little too eager about protocol.

"Mobile with camera? No camera" asks the bodyguard, moving as if to block America's top diplomat's path. It takes Kerry a few moments to make sense of the awkward encounter before he shakes his head and is on his way.

Videos of the incident have made the rounds since. The hashtag #DoYouHaveACameraPhone ( معاك_موبايل_بكاميرا ) began trending on Twitter.

A "historic" question

There are already cartoons about it

It reminded people of when Egyptian journalist Shaimaa Abdel Moneim not-so-eloquently asked Leonardo Dicaprio about his first #Oscar

Others are invoking Nokia nostalgia
