Earlier this week, police in Saudi Arabia's Ha'il governorate detained a couple accused of launching a "porn page" on Instagram, Sabq news site reported.
The arrests came weeks after local authorities became aware of the account's activities. Officers closely tracked the page and realized its admins were targeting young Saudis to promote "debauchery" and "illicit relationships."
According to local news sources, the duo were ambushed and arrested during an explicit live stream.
Followers who had captured the stream have since uploaded a video of it to Twitter.

"I call on authorities to put an end to the admins of explicit and pornographic accounts on Twitter and Instagram. The situation has become dangerous for our young boys and girls. People are showing off their debaucherous behaviors."
Not the first time a similar arrest is made in the kingdom
In 2015, Saudi Arabia's anti-LGBT authority in Jeddah arrested a cross-dresser who ran one of the most popular pornographic Instagram pages in the kingdom.
The defendant had over 92,000 followers at the time of his detainment and frequently posted explicit sexual videos to his account.
His arrest came after security officials and members of the country's Committee for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice (religious police) received several reports on the matter.
The defendant admitted to the charges held against him during interrogations.
