Arab designers are once again wowing at New York Fashion Week with Lebanon's Reem Acra and Bahrain's Noon by Noor showcasing their trendsetting designs.

Noon by Noor already delighted fashionistas with her Sunday afternoon show, on Day 3 of NYFW.

Designed by Bahraini cousins Shaikha Noor Al Khalifa and Shaikha Haya Al Khalifa, the brand is "modern and effortless with a focus on striking prints and intricate embellishments," according to the NYFW website . The labels "refined aesthetic fuses understated luxury with a playful femininity."

Acra's collection will debut Monday evening.

Acra already hinted at her new fall collection's style, saying that her mother is the inspiration for the season's designs.

As one of the leading designers in the world of fashion, Acra shot to prominence with her exclusive bridal designs and in 2008 she expanded to ready to wear. Her designs combine "diverse cultural elements in an elegant and powerful way."

The well-known Lebanese designer also recently announced that she would be headlining a new reality TV competition, "Fashion Star" on Dubai One.

New York Fashion Week brings together the world's top and up-and-coming designers as well as industry experts, profoundly shaping global fashion trends.

Acra and Noon by Noor are only some of the world class fashion labels originating from the Arab World, but being featured at NYFW always shines an added positive spotlight.
