On Sunday, >Rami Malek took home the trophy for best drama actor for his role in Bohemian Rhapsody during the 76th Golden Globe Awards.
The 37-year-old was competing against Bradley Cooper for his role in A Star Is Born among others.
"I'm beyond moved. My heart is pounding out of my chest right now," he said in his acceptance speech.
"This is a profound honor to receive this and to be counted amongst such extraordinary actors. I'm privileged to be counted among you."
The Egyptian-American actor went on to thank members of the legendary British rock band before dedicating a few words to late Freddie Mercury.
"To you Brian May, to you Roger Taylor for ensuring that authenticity and inclusively exist in the music and in the world and all of us."
"This is for you, beautiful man"
"Thank you to Freddie Mercury for giving me the joy of a lifetime. I love you, you beautiful man. This is for and because of you, gorgeous."
The Freddie Mercury biopic also won a Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture - Drama.
But, it wasn't all smooth ...
After the announcement of the film's win, Malek approached the stage and attempted to reach out to category presenter Nicole Kidman ... but was awkwardly shut down.
The 37-year-old eventually just stood in the back while executive producers Graham King and Jim Beach accepted the award.
In the footage, it is clear that it wasn't intentional, but people definitely noticed the moment.
