In a horrifying turn of events, British Radio One host Gavin Ford was found dead in a Beit Mery apartment on Tuesday morning.

The reason behind his passing remains unclear, as sources from Internal Security Forces told The Daily Star.

Local media outlets are reporting his body was found covered in blood as well as his car stolen. Some are pointing at a possible "murder," but no confirmation has yet been announced.

He celebrated his birthday two days ago, on Nov. 25.

Ford joined the Lebanese radio station Radio One in 1995, hosting his popular breakfast show Gavin Ford in the Morning.

He graduated from the National Broadcasting School in London and had his first job at a tourist station in Italy. He then went on to work at Radio Caroline, one of Britain’s famous radio ships, presenting The Breakfast Show; he quit because of the "constant storms."

The radio host then moved to Normandy, France, to join Contact 94; and on to Galaxy Radio in Bristol, England, and then Napa FM in Cyprus.

It was later that he joined Radio One in Lebanon, where he presented Gavin Ford in the Morning, "Lebanon’s most listened to breakfast show."

The upsetting news shook people in Lebanon, especially all the late presenter's fans who would tune every morning to listen to his show.

Colleagues and social media users are offering their condolences and expressing their sadness regarding Ford's passing.
