Tawaji received a standing ovation from all four judges, after her performance of Michel Legrand’s "Les moulins de mon cœur" or "The Windmills of my Heart", singing in both Arabic and French. She ended the song off with a stunning twenty-second long falsetto note.
Support for Tawaji was felt throughout Lebanon, as the hashtag #HibaIsTheVoice gained traction.
Tawaji first became a famous Lebanese artist after after her collaboration with producer and composer Oussama Rahbani in 2007. Known for her powerful and unique vocal skills, it won't be a surprise if she makes it to the finals in "The Voice." Either way, Lebanon is proud.
