Using data collected from Numbeo, the world's largest database of user-contributed data on costs and prices around the world, the folks at MoveHub created an awesome infographic illustrating the lowest costs of living around the world.

We pulled the Middle East information here. The folks at MoveHub explain the graph on top, saying that they compared the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of each country to New York, they created a color-coded graph on top. For example, for instance, if a country has a CPI of 70, on average it enjoys 30% cheaper living costs compared to New York.

Five Middle Eastern countries are ranked as having lowest cost of living in the world. They include Tunisia (4), Algeria (5), Egypt (7), Syria (9) and Morocco (9). Only one Middle Eastern country ranked as having the high cost of living in the world: Kuwait, clocking in at number nine.
