If you're keeping up with the Kardashians, you probably know by now they're huge fans of Armenian music — due to their Armenian roots. To make it a bit more eccentric, they have successfully infiltrated Arabic music to their track lists, too.
Earlier this month, the Kardashian clan traveled to Armenia to attend the baptism of Kim's children: Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.
Kourtney - who went along on the trip - created an "Armenian playlist" to listen to while on the holiday. This week, editors of her lifestyle website >Poosh shared her list with fans, explaining that "the curation includes a mix of new and classic rap, Arabic pop, and R&B songs she's listening to on her trip."
You'd think Kardashian would be listening to common Arabic songs foreigners typically enjoy, but going over her playlist will leave you surprised. From Tamer Hosny to Nancy Ajram, the reality TV star seems to be pretty well acquainted with Arabic pop.
Kardashian's playlist features tens of Armenian tracks but also has a dozen Arabic tunes on it. Here's a quick look at them:
- Boshret Kheir – Hussain Al Jassmi
- Shou Bado – Yara
- Besaraha - Mohamed Assaf
- Toul Al Yom – Nassif Zeytoun
- Lolak Habiby – Tamer Hosny
- Chou Kan Baddi – Naji Osta
- Khserna Baad – Ziad Bourji & Maya Diab
- Albak Yemchi Lhalo – Hatim Ammor
- Adios – Nouamane Belaiachi
- Aam Betaala' Feek – Nancy Ajram
- Ya Tabtab Wa Dallaa – Nancy Ajram
- Ya Nour El Ein – Massari feat. Maya Diab & French Montana
Arab fans were all here for this
While some were just super excited that Kardashian is listening to Arabic songs, others were pretty confused over the playlist's title.
Many thought the reality star mistook Arabic songs for being Armenian, and, honestly, who could blame them? After all, Kim Kardashian >once played an Egyptian version of a happy birthday song and claimed it's Armenian.
However, Kourtney's website clearly acknowledges the fact that her playlist features Arabic pop songs so all is settled there.
A few Arab fans were over the moon with this playlist
Others had this question to ask
But many just got it
