Times Higher Education recently released its 2017/18 ranking ... and a Saudi university beat all other universities in the Arab world.
King Abdulaziz University ranked No. 1 in the Arab world. It ranked No. 201 globally and No. 23 in comparison to universities listed in the Asian continent.
KAU was established in 1967 and is now recognized as a world-class university with global outreach and collaboration projects in the fields of research and innovation.
The ranking included 1,102 universities from 77 countries, which were based on measures such as teaching, research, international outlook and income from industry, according to the BBC.
The University of Oxford ranked No. 1 globally, followed by The University of Cambridge (No. 2) and Stanford University and the California Institute of Technology at No. 3 equally.
