Fresh off an Oscar win, John Legend put on an amazing performance at Dubai Jazz Festival this weekend.
It was his first performance since winning an Academy Award for his song "Glory", and the American crooner brought that enthusiasm to Dubai. Although Legend did not perform the winning song, he closed the show with an amazing Middle Eastern take on "All of Me."
The song was produced by Lebanese Jean-Marie Riachi, who was also on hand to watch the performance.
Legend will be continuing his tour of the Middle East, with a controversial show in Bahrain tonight . After giving a speech about the importance of human rights at the Oscars, many Bahraini activists are calling for Legend to cancel his show at the state-sponsored Spring of Culture festival. We'll see what happens.
