Known as the "undisputed queen of Twitter," best-selling British novelist J.K. Rowling is no stranger to perfectly> >shutting down hateful trolls and Islamophobes on the platform.
Earlier this week, she did it again, perfectly responding to a Republican campaigner who shamed >Ariana Grande after she called for gun control in the U.S. in the aftermath of Sunday's >Las Vegas massacre.
Scott Presler asked Grande why she hadn't called for "radical Islamic control" in the aftermath of the terrorist >attack on her >Manchester Arena concert, which took place earlier this year.
And Rowling didn't miss the chance to powerfully hit back.
This is how it went down:
It all started when Ariana Grande tweeted this out
Then, Presler responded with...
Enter J.K. Rowling... who wasn't having any of it
"Islam doesn't kill people.
People kill people."
