With Ramadan ending in three days, workers in the Gulf are finding out exactly how long they have off for the Eid al-Fitr. Saudi government employees look to have the longest break.

A government official told Arab News Friday that state workers would be off until July 21, with last Thursday having been their final working day. Private sector employees in Saudi Arabia will receive 6 days, beginning on July 16.

In Oman, public and private sector workers will have six days of holidays, returning to work on July 21, according to Arabian Business .

In Qatar, public employees will receive 11 days off, starting on Wednesday. However, Doha News reported that private sector employees will have to wait until Eid begins on the 17th or 18th to find out how many days they have off.

In the United Arab Emirates, public workers will only receive four days off – adding Sunday and Monday to the regular Friday-Saturday weekend. Private sector workers are not being given any official holidays off - since the Eid itself falls on the regular weekend days off.
