Rana Darwish is an Egyptian girl who really, really wants to fly out to Zanzibar, Tanzania ... because, who wouldn't take advantage of inner-continental flights?
But, Rana's trip will just have to wait, because -as she later reveals- the outrageous ticket fares to the East African archipelago are something she cannot afford.
Going from Cairo to Tanzania's DAR airport now comes at a hefty price tag: 56,017 Egyptian pound. Now this is the equivalent of $2,900, but before the Egyptian pound was floated it was the equivalent of nearly double.
The spike in ticket fares that comes in the midst of Egypt's ongoing economic saga. It is the stuff of vacation nightmares. (The Egyptian pound has >devalued by a nearly 50 percent drop against the United States dollar).
In light of this predicament, Darwish posted a video where she questions whether the displayed ticket fare is that of the plane or that of a seat on the plane.
It went viral with her video garnering over 60,000 views and 600 shares on Facebook at the time of writing.

It's the price "per tayara fe3lan"
After media coverage from a local website, Darwish's mom became concerned
