Dubai's Crown Prince Prince Hamdan bin Mohammed has officially launched Dubai Future Accelerators, the largest accelerator for government services in the world.
The accelerator program aims to bring transformative technologies, not just to Dubai but to the world. The program will also support entrepreneurs and innovators who want to turn their ideas into successful companies.
"Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid's vision is the engine to achieve our goals and transform the UAE into the global capital to explore and create the future," Sheikh Hamdan said, according to Emirates 24|7 .
The accelerator program will connect the world's most innovative companies with leading figures in government, allowing global innovators to address "21st century opportunities" including things like robotics and 3D printing .
Dubai has proven to be home to some of the world's most ground breaking innovations.
"From the creation of Emirates Airlines to our world leading ports, business centers and tourist infrastructure, we have always identified what is needed next and done what was necessary to make it happen," Prince Hamdan said.
"Today we continue that process by launching Dubai Future Accelerators."
