Besides being royals, what do the British Queen, Dubai's ruler and Dubai's crown prince all have in common?
They all have a passion for horses and horse racing!
This common interest has brought the trio together numerous times over the years. And they all met up again this weekend, for a friendly chat at the Royal Windsor Endurance Race at Windsor Park in the U.K.
Besides horse racing, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, who is also the vice president and prime minister of the UAE, and Queen Elizabeth II "discussed historic ties, friendship, and co-operation between the UAE and the United Kingdom," according to the Dubai Media Office.
King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain was also in attendance, and met up with Sheikh Mohammed and the Queen.
It was also a proud moment for the UAE, as Emirati riders won big at the horse race.
UAE riders won the first three places, with Saeed Al Khayari crowned as the winner of the 120 km endurance race, finishing at 4:47:48.
