After Jordanian men on Twitter launched the hashtag #TweetLikeAGirl early Saturday, many Twitter users in the Middle East picked it up, quickly making it a trending topic in Jordan, the UAE and Egypt to the dismay of many women.

Guys, finally tapping into the female psyche, took to Twitter to tweet the way a woman obviously  would

"I want to lose weight, but my boyfriend doesn't want me to."

"Check out my flawless eyeliner"

Women were not impressed

"Excuse me?! Does the girl tweet with a pink pen, for example? Whoever started this hashtag, how about you start #TweetingLikAMan and leave the girls alone, thank you."

"The stupidity on this hashtag is unnatural"

"They really think that all women care about is makeup, clothes, and that's all! If that's how it is, then I might as well not be a girl! Ugh, spare me [your insight] guys."

Schooled.
