College can be eventful, but students at American University in Cairo got more than the typical college fun times when a loose camel strolled across campus unattended.
AUC Caravan, a student-run newspaper, posted a video of the camel's adventure on its Facebook page.
After jumping out of a vehicle and walking near the campus walls, the camel smoothly found its way through the campus gates.
Obviously, the camel made for some good photo ops and social shares.
I guess the stereotypical image that Egyptians go to school on a camel will be a bit harder to refute from now on.
It seems that somehow, animals in Egypt always find their way past gates. In late April, the spotlights were all on the donkey that single-handedly made it into Cairo Airport. Because in Egypt, when there's a will, there certainly is a way, no matter what you are!
