On Tuesday, British Prime Minister Theresa May called for an early general election on June 8 - the reason being she wants to make a "success of Brexit" by strengthening the country's leadership.
May emphasized that if an early vote did not take place "the negotiations with the European Union will reach their most difficult stage in the run-up to the next scheduled election,” which was scheduled to take place in 2020, according to the New York Times.
More than one third of MPs must vote against May's motion, a decision expected to be announced on Wednesday, for the call to be dismissed.
Putting all the politics aside, people couldn't help but notice one thing:
That the elections will be held in the middle of Ramadan, meaning >British Muslims will definitely have too much on their plates!
