The Indian culture is known for its vibrancy in colors, music, and flavors, too. As spring approaches, the colors of Holi, known as spring festival, or festival of colors, are scattered in India and around the world. This year, the Embassy of India in Egypt and Teamwork Arts are bringing back the Indian Cultural Festival for its third year to tent four Egyptian cities in all things Indian.

For more than two weeks, from March 30 till April 17, the streets and cultural centers of Cairo, Alexandria, Port Said and Ismailia will host Indian Bollywood dance workshops, tea tasting and Indian street food fests, Indian movie nights, concerts and even Indian crafts making.

If that wasn't enough to get the Egyptian crowds' blood rushing with enthusiasm for the festivities, this year, world-renowned Indian Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan will be leading the cultural conversations at the Cairo Opera House and by the Pyramids.

Be sure to check the festival's program, and mark your calendar for a festival guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
