If you're a college student, you know the struggle of picking classes before term starts, and a big part of it is the picking the right professor. A professor can make or break your grade, and opinions vary on them, leaving you even more stumped.

Ayya Professor, a new website with a database of professors, promises to help. This Lebanese website gives students the opportunity to grade their college professors anonymously, making it easier to know who's the best for you to take that class you've been scared to fail.

Once logged on, you can search for a professor’s name and enter your evaluation of them from previous classes, or check out others' evaluations. You can also add a  professor’s name to the site if they are not listed. That way you'll be able to compare professors side-by-side if you're not sure which will be more compatible with your style of learning.

“A professor’s final score is expressed in the form of a letter grade and compiled in a GPA-like fashion based on a set of predetermined criteria that are listed under the grading categories. Professors that accumulate a high GPA will join the site’s 'Honor Society,'" said Ryan Abi, founder of Ayya Professor

The website started as a senior project by Abi and has now been developed into a full-fledged user-friendly online platform with a special blog section, featuring articles on an array of academic, cultural and entertainment topics contributed by college students and enthusiasts.
