Egyptian MIT student Abdul Dremali has been taking photographs for nearly two years now ... but little did he know he would become an internet sensation overnight.
It all started when Dremali shared a photo he had taken in Rockport, Massachusetts, via his Twitter account.
To his surprise, it gained a lot of traction on the social media platform. So, Dremali decided to tweet it at National Geographic as a joke.
"I didn't expect an actual response," the 29-year-old told StepFeed.
"Do you like my picture?" Dremali asked
Nat Geo responds!
Dremali was taken aback when he saw the overwhelming support on the social media platform. He was even more surprised when National Geographic actually responded to his tweet.
"I was taken aback when they complimented my photography so, being the troll that I am, I replied with the most ridiculous picture I could and they snapped back with the submission link to their famous magazine," he said.
So ... Dremali took a selfie and asked Nat Geo for feedback
And Nat Geo went along with the joke...
"It really made my day to see their humor. I may actually submit the photo and see what happens," he explained.
The internet couldn't handle Dremali's trolling level...
"I love this"
Laughing-crying taken to the next level
"I love Twitter because of your tweets"
